The Everest base camp is renowned for its spectacular view and enchanting beauty and always has been a favorite destination for the trek lovers. Every trekker can get the chance to observe the native Sherpa people and their cultures along with the Buddhists people’s religion, tradition and their dedication. You will also get the chance to see the different species of Birds, animals and the national bird of Nepal (DAPHE) during your trek. You can be overwhelmed by the beauty of the snow-covered giant Himalayan peaks of the Everest region which will make you forget all the sorrows and pain. The approach to this beautiful region now usually starts with a breathtaking flight from Kathmandu to Lukla airstrip (2,800 meters).
If you decide against the flight then it will mean a trek in from Jiri, this will take about seven to eight days walking. The Lukla is a beautiful Sherpa village situated in the lap of Himalayas. The Trek follows a steep river valley to Namche Bazar. Namche is the official gateway to the Khumbu region. The Everest base camp trekking will be an unforgettable journey of your lifetime. The Everest Base Camp Trek leads you through the Khumbu Valley, allowing you to experience the immense beauty of the surrounding Sagarmatha National Park while continuously providing breath-taking vistas of 4 of the 6 highest peaks in the world – Mt. Lhotse (8,516 meters), Mt. Makalu (8,470 meters) and Cho Oyu (8,201 meters).
Regardless of the Himalayan land of the Khumbu, people of all demographics can complete the EBC or Everest Base Camp Trek. It has received a moderate trip grade though; you shouldn’t have to be experienced in trekking in order to take this trek route.
As Khumbu’s scenery consists of hills and flat-lands, you will mostly do up-hill and down-hill trekking in moderately flat-lands. This will provide you with plenty of adaptation time.
If you are running out of time or have a short period of time to visit Everest Base camp then you can customize your trip with us.
