“Namo Buddha” is a sacred site ,the name translate to “Homage to the Buddha”.According to the buddhist it is believed that in one of the lives of Lord buddha he was born as a prince named Mahasattva.One day, while he was wandering around the forest with his 2 brother ,he encounter a hungry tigress and her cubs ,seeing them in desperate need of food, the price selflessly offer his own body to the tigress as food ,this act of supreme self-sacrifice is considered a powerful symbol of compassion ans selflessness in Buddhism.A stupa marks the spot where this legendary event is said to be placed.

A day hike to Namo Buddha begins after the hearty breakfast ,we set out for the Dhulikhel.After reaching to the Dhulikhel ,the trails goes through the villages,terraced fields.As you ascend higher and if the day is clear then we can see some of the himalayan peaks including:Langtang Lirung(7,227m),Ganesh Himal ranges and Dorje Lakpa (6,966m),the air becomes more and along the way there are opportunities to interact with the locals who are very friendly.As the trails passes we will reach to the Namo Buddha stupa which is located at the top of the hill at an altitude of 1,750 m with 360 degree views of the valley so, the place is popular to both locals and foreigners.Upon reaching the monastery we are greeted by the soothing chants of monks and the aroma of incense through the air.
