Overview of Island Peak Climbing

Island Peak climbing   (6189m) is every trekker’s dream climb.  Its beauty and significance is comparable to Mt. Everest. Technically this is the medium grade that involves 3 days of climbing. Before you submit this peak, you will get the opportunity to collect some experience in the Everest Base Camp(Alt5364m) and Kalapathar Viewpoint (Alt5550m )and for acclimatization to maintain elevation sickness. This trek has an excellent view of Mt. Everest (8848 m), mt. Lhotse (8516m, 27940ft), Lhotse Shar (8383m, 27503ft), Amadablam (6812m, 22349ft), Makalu (8485m, 27838ft) and many other such magnificent mountain ranges. This line-up also includes a visit to Namche Bazaar, Sherpa Museum, their culture and history, and monasteries. Pilgrims pray in the monasteries and it will be a beautiful part of a journey to acknowledge their trend of prayer. We will also get a chance to witness festivals like Lhosar (January/February) and Dumji (June/July).  Both of these festivals are very colorful with mask dancing and family get-together. And precisely Tengboche and Khumjung monastery, Green Valley in Khumjung village and the skull of Mythical Yeti are the adorable sights.

You will be in good physique before and after a climb. We have well trained, experienced and mature attendants to assist you all the way to the summit.
